Model Akira Isola -headshot

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
~ Maya Angelou

I’d been feeling it for a while.  A desire to stretch in new directions, explore fresh approaches and create with a priority on play.  I was eager to find new opportunities to do things differently…

Our Creative Shoot at Mimmynvovo

I’ve followed Mimmynvovo Studio for a little while, so when I had the chance to join them for a creative content night, I jumped!  It was like walking into Willy Wonka meets The Winery, with sacharine sweet confectionary tones, disco backdrops, an (adult-sized) swing over a ball pit, floral cages and a phone booth surrounded by a cascade of flowers.  My inner child was well and truly alive!

And then I met Akira Isola sitting in a candy-coloured ball pit.

As you do.

Akira’s a Sydney-based model working internationally.  She has the most amazing eyes, creative openness and blossoming career in palaeontology.  Perfect combo for creating a fun shoot.

Enjoy some of my favourite shots from my time with Akira,
