They say good things come to those who wait… and given Iris and I waited six months to shoot together, I was hoping we’d be rewarded with a truly magical session.

And we were.  I already knew of Iris’ strong creativity and love of magical stories like Harry Potter.  But when I heard Iris sing for the first time, I was stunned by the depth of soul that flowed through.  I knew in that moment that she could bring that same presence and depth to our creative portrait shoot.

With just a word, a few bars of music or little prop, Iris inhabits a different world.  We could flow and collaborate on so many fantastical ideas.  As a fellow Leo, I wanted to honour Iris’ queenly energy, poise, as well as her openness and sense of fun.  Roar!

Iris and her mum sent me this message after seeing their images for the first time:

“Oh my gosh.  We are blown away.  Wow.  WOW.  We love them.  You’ve captured so much story.  And her inner light.  We are very grateful for the positive experience she has with you.”

Step out of the everyday and into a world of imagination with our storybook collaboration.
